This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home has a gated driveway to insure privacy. It is tastefully done with both hardwood and travertine floors. All the bedrooms have AC units and several
ceiling fans as well. Each floor boasts a TV with DVD, a stereo system, as well as a newly renovated full kitchen on the 2nd floor and a wet bar on the first floor. Both the kitchen and wet bar are stocked with quality cookware, stainless steel cutlery, and all the kitchen essentials to make your vacation enjoyable. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

As you enjoy the panoramic ocean and mountain views on the 2nd floor, you can also keep tabs on your children below, playing in the sand or swimming on what seems like your own private beach. From the lanais on the 1st and 2nd floors, one can see several popular surf breaks. “Walls” is just 200 yards off to the left where one can surf virtually alone or with a maximum of 2-3 other surfers. Haleiwa Beach, which you can see 1/2 mile away at Ali’i Beach Park is home to the famous Triple Crown of International Surfing. One can actually see “down the tube” expert surfers shred the waves, and “tow in surfing” on really monstrous days!! A 5 minute car ride will take you to Laniakea, Chuns Reef, or Piddley’s for real local style surf.

  My husband and I spent nearly three weeks at this wonderful house. Over the course of our stay we had friends and family coming and going. The house comfortably sleeps 8 and there was ample room for everyone to gather together and also have their own space. The house was well stocked with everything you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The best feature about this home is its location. Sitting on a beautiful, private feeling beach, there are gorgeous views from the house and immediate access to the sand. There was a brand new gas grill, which we used frequently and a cute grocery store in town. You almost don't want to leave the house. The home is walkable distance to the town of Haleiwa and the marina. We whale watched one day, and ate and shopped at the numerous restaurants and cute shops. We were fortunate enough to be there for the Pipeline Masters Surf contest, which was really fun. If you surf, there are great surf spots nearby. You can be as active, (hiking, biking, golfing, surfing, swimming) or relaxed as you want to be. We are hoping to make this home an annual destination.

  We really treasured our stay at Haleiwa Beach Bungalow. This is our first time staying on this side of the island and enjoyed it very much. We appreciated the spacious house and that each room has its own mini split a/c. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner; it was easy to cook and assemble with the fully furnished kitchen. The views from the house were amazing! No matter which window you looked from! During the week, we were about the only people on the beach. The water was perfect for swimming. We liked how close we were to Haleiwa and all of the stores and shops. The location on the island was perfect for our family. It is close enough to great restaurants and sights, but far enough away from the busy city. We took advantage of the macadamia nut tours, rum tours and chocolate tours. So much to appreciate on Oahu! We will definitely come again! We have worked with MDi Capital, LLC on other trips and highly recommend them.

  It was the first time in 3 years that our family was able to be together. Honestly, Hawaii was NEVER on my Bucket List. I will forever be grateful for the time we shared on this breathtakingly beautiful island. We were so active...kayaking at Kailua Beach, visiting Kualoa Ranch, taking in all that historic Haleiwa has to offer---this house is in a perfect spot on a sundrenched beach with daily swims of turtles! (Please don't touch them--Oahu let's you be one with Nature, but please respect the Island). You are right next to Kamehameha Highway!! Take in a snorkel at Shark's Cove, a sunset at Sunset beach, a hike, a jump off some rocks, and grab your bottle of wine, fresh fruit,& cheese from FoodLand PuPukea to bring back to the house and watch the colors change in the night sky from your own lanai! We are usually "one & done" visitors because there is so much beauty to see in this world. There is something so special about this island--it's genuinely humble & gracious people, and this little spectacle beach Bungalow that could draw us back tomorrow if we were blessed enough to get a second chance in paradise.We were captivated by the rainbows, the waves, the beauty in everything-and especially in the warmth and comfort of this bungalow. This house isn't a place, it's an opportunity. With a spot to soak up the sun, & a patio to rest in the shade, there is no excuse to not notice the beauty all around you. And you can snorkel near the rocks at the beach in front of the house! (perfect planning of having 2 places to wash off the sand so you never have to worry about taking the beach back to house). There were 8 of us on the trip. Ages from 18 to 84--and no one was crowded, the house was so clean and well appointed with bedrooms and big spacious luxurious bathrooms! Plus a top notch well stocked kitchen! Just take a breathe and take it all in! Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, Matsumoto's Shave ice, A shark adventure right out of Haleiwa Harbor--DO IT ALL RIGHT FROM THIS BUNGLAOW

  We had a great time at the house. The beach location and proximity to Haleiwa shopping was perfect. The house was accurately represented. the pictures don't do the view justice though. It is amazing from the upstairs and downstairs Lanai. There were a couple of issues found at checkin but the mgmt. company was very responsive in getting them resolved quickly. I would highly recommend for a large family or group of couples.

  This property was completely perfect! Sweeping ocean views with the waves lapping up onto your soft sandy beachfront that are only steps away from the bungalow. Standing on the huge view deck gives you miles of view lines which allowed us to watch from a distant the World Surfing Championships and then turn to the indoor TV view to see it up close!
  The home boasts two updated kitchens, one on each level. The upstairs has the larger kitchen along with vaulted ceilings, large dining area and open concept living room with superior view lines. Two large bedrooms and a 3/4 bath complete this floor. The lower level has a huge master bedroom and full updated bathroom. Living room with extra sleeping areas plus two sliders to a covered patio area for year round any weather outdoor living.
  Follow the steps to the sandy private back yard before you take the path to the WOW Beach front! Just steps to the ocean!
  This property was complete in every way. I would give it my highest ratings. But maybe I should lie and down grade it so it’s always available for us when we come back, cuz we are coming back!!!! 😊����
  
  Another huge plus is you can walk to superior dining, bars and shopping. Beach front parks are an abundance all around.
  
  The property was clean and inviting from the moment we opened the electronic driveway gate! The property provided plenty of towels and amenities that provided all we needed to enjoy this one of a kind getaway! Absolutely loved everything about our stay. So did the other two couples we came with.
  
  We can’t thank you enough for the condition of the property or the quality of comfort it provided. 5 Stars! The Best of the Best!

  Asking my self why we had to leave! I cannot explain the amazingness of this home and it’s location. Privacy and safety is an understatement. Between the seclusion of being tucked away on a back road and the large privacy gate, this home is an amazing safe haven for it’s guests. My mother was supposed to be in this trip with us, but sadly she passed away less than 2 weeks prior to this trip. When we arrived to the home (10/12/18) the agents with MDi had left us beautiful flowers and a framed picture of my mom with a little note. If that’s not customer service, what is? Beds are super comfy and rooms are spacious! Fit our family of 6 wonderfully. The lanais are great to watch the sea turtles swimming...the views are superb. Can’t wait for our return!

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very comfortable and well laid out for groups of people. Having a separate living area downstairs is really a bonus. Both lanais have fantastic views and the proximity to the beach can't be beat! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked will all the basic cookware & utensils you'll need. All the bedrooms have AC and there are ceiling fans downstairs. When it's really hot, the downstairs living area still stays fairly cool, even without AC. You are walking distance to town - but if it's hot out, you'll probably be driving. It's only a little over a mile but in the heat feels farther. Having a rental bicycle would be great - you would be able to get to town very easily. The beach in front of the house is beautiful. Conditions will vary between winter and summer, so keep that in mind as in the winter (starting in October), bigger waves & rougher conditions mean it's most likely not good for swimming. We were at the house the beginning of October and people were surfing and paddle boarding directly in front of the house. We would definitely stay here again!

  We wouldn’t hesitate to book the Haleiwa Beach Bunglaow again! It was a great size for our group of 4, but could easily sleep quite a few more! I’m not sure if it was 3 king beds? Maybe one queen? Each in its own bedroom. (2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 1 on the 1st floor)And another bed in the downstairs family room, along with a large couch. A full bathroom on each level. We slept with all the windows & doors open upstairs. It seemed like a nice family neighborhood. The beach was the place to be on Labor Day, but on the weekdays there were only a few people here & there. The ocean was calm right in front of the house in early September. With some small surf to either side on the long golden beach. Perfect for paddle boarding and getting in the water to cool off. The view from the house & upstairs lanai was perfect. We didn’t really use the downstairs family room at all. The upstairs was big enough to seat all of us. Kitchen has a dishwasher and everything we needed to do some cooking. There’s a cabinet with some spices, oils, etc. and a few condiments in the fridge too. There is a washer/dryer, but we didn’t need to use it. There’s a cabinet with plenty of bath & beach towels. We were on the go most days & this place made a great home base. But staying put and enjoying the house & beach at the back door would be really nice! The property management @ HVR was easy to contact & work with. They took care of any issues that arose quickly and we would be happy to work with them again!

  Here is what the photos don't show you:
  1. CALM OCEAN WATERS. The backyard ocean is calm compared to the Windward side (like Laie) & kids can play in it without current or rough waves. Locals said it's like that all year.
  2. TURTLES. Turtles are everywhere, take advantage of the calm waters in the morning to snorkel, paddleboards, etc. Turtles resting on the beach! We even saw a pod of dolphins from the upper balcony of the Haleiwa Beach Bungalow on our last day.
  3. SUNSETS. Sunsets are amazing from the balcony.
  4. WALK TO TOWN! We did Aioki's Shave Ice over Matsumotos long lines everytime. Rent Kayaks and paddle up the fresh water. Malamas Grocery Store and Longs (CVS) Drug close by.
  5. HOMELESS. Understand there are homeless throughout in Hawaii. Some parks have more than others (tent cities). I picked this house specifically because Pupukea Beach Park (end of beach) did not have any at the time we rented.
  6. AC - not all rental houses have AC! This had very nice remote controlled AC units plus ceiling fans that cooled the bedrooms immediately.
  7. NOISE/ROAD NOISE. A significant amount of rental houses are on the main road (Kamehameha Hwy). We didn't want the kids stepping off property and into a 35-45mph highway. Nor did I want to hear traffic while sleeping. This house is tucked into a cute neighborhood away from the main highway.
  8. LAUNDRY - house came with a wonderful supply of fresh towels and ample beach towels. Also the washer and dryer worked great.
  9. CHICKENS means NO BUGS! No chickens on the property because it is gated/fenced. But you will hear and see them no matter where you go in the North Shore. They keep the bug population under control. Regarding the Haleiwa Beach Bungalow had no issues with bugs at this house (keep the screens closed) and had zero mosquitos on the open air balcony and down stairs patio.
  10. OUTDOOR SHOWER - can't live on the beach without an outdoor shower!

  Perfect location for a family fun filled vacation. We had a wonderful time and very much appreciated the personal friendly and helpful assistance of Amanda and Nikki.
  There were a few things we felt could be improved in the house. The kitchen could be improved by having a kettle,a full set of wine glasses and new tumblers and a platter and salad servers.
  The bbq also has no hot plate.
  Otherwise we were very happy.

  We just returned from a wonderful stay at this amazing property. We had a party of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids) and had plenty of room. The location for this home can't be beat! The beach was fantastic, the neighborhood was quiet, and the close proximity to town was very convenient. The beach was great for swimming, playing in the water, and watching surfers all throughout the day. There is much to do in and around Haleiwa, and this home puts you right in the middle of it all! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to the North Shore!

Everything needed is right here.   This rental was perfect for our family! We wanted a location that was quiet, within walking distance to town, and large enough to accommodate 3 couples. The beach was practically deserted and the views from the bungalow were spectacular! We also appreciated having two lanais - the one on top is uncovered and perfect for mornings and evenings while the lower one is in the shade (for those afternoons when we needed some relief from the sun.) To be totally honest there are a couple rusty lights and some peeling paint on the cabinets that should be addressed (comes with being by the ocean, I suspect) but in no way was our stay negatively affected by this! We would definitely rent this bungalow again!!!
  
  The town of Haleiwa is cute! Lots of shopping to do! We ate many meals at the Bungalow but recommend Haleiwa Joes' for dinner and Cafe Haleiwa for breakfast.

  The house was wonderful! Loved the spaciousness, location and especially the deck. Very relaxed feeling. Very quiet. Easy bike ride into Haleiwa or other beaches. House was clean and well-supplied. Individual AC units in each bedroom were perfect for everyone to sleep in temp they liked. Appreciate the quantity of beach towels, bath towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, laundry and outdoor shower. It was nice to have a surf break right out front. Saw sea turtles in water everyday and 2 came up on shore. We rented bikes to get around town. Loved the ClimbWorks ziplining. Enjoyed Haleiwa Beach House and Banzai Sushi for dinner and Island Vintage Coffee for breakfast. Haleiwa has wonderful vibe. Will definitely return!!

  This was our first big vacation with the parents and in-laws. The house is exactly as described and pictured. It got rave reviews from both sides of the family. The way the house is set up worked really well for us. The downstairs has its own kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and bathroom with the main kitchen, bedrooms, and living area upstairs. We could all hang out together, but each family still had their own space. This house would be ideal for a family with kids bringing the grandparents along or two families vacationing together. The management company was very professional. This was my first time booking a vacation rental. They made it easy and were happy to answer all of my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

  Overall the experience was great! The view is everything you'd want it to be and the location to town is wonderful - very easy to walk. These were important as they were two big reasons we booked this unit.
  
  However for the money you pay one would like to see a few things improve. This was our 7th VRBO/Homeaway rental so we couldn't help but compare some items to other rentals we've had.
  
  Overall the kitchen is sparse with cooking utensils. We like to make dinners two or three nights in a week and we found it difficult at times to find what we needed. Basic items like salt and pepper, cooking spray for the BBQ, foil, etc. were not provided. Also, the appliances at this location are few and the ones they have definitely need upgrading. For example the toaster is almost unusable as one side is missing it's lever and the other side only toasts on one side. Coffee maker is ancient and easily replaceable. These are very minor things but also things we have not encountered at other rentals we've had.
  
  The upstairs bathroom shower is tiny!! Think cruise ship tiny! It's not a huge deal but be prepared! Also the bathroom door stuck several times and it took some pulling to get out after a shower!! The two upstairs bedrooms could each use a chest of drawers instead of the hanging cloth shelf thing that hangs in the closet for all your clothes...
  
  I bring up these minor things as I would love for the management company to especially give the kitchen a small but important makeover for those in the future that would like to take advantage of its potential!
  
  My last thoughts are this...There was nothing better than sitting on the deck with a glass of wine in the evenings taking in the view of the sun going down...you won't be sorry if you rent this place but with a few minor upgrades it would be so much better!!!

  We loved our stay and found the house to be perfect for what we needed. We encouraged management to upgrade the mattresses and we believe that will happen. It the next door dog barked at times and that was not any problem and the kids across the street had a party one night but it all seemed fine as long as when that happens you close your windows. The house came fully stocked with beach toys which we found on the third day of our stay. The Hawaii Five O team was filming at the park to the right of the house so that was fun! We saw the four turtles to the right of the house looking out at the ocean and that was great. Tv and wifi were great. Furnishings perfect-- enough hot water when we did indoor showers- grocery store in Haleiwa was perfect and the team that we dealt with was great!!

  Fabulous location! The beach was uncrouded. Every time we went snorkeling in front of the house we had close encounters with several turtles.   The view is second to none. During our stay, the weather was hot 80-90's and humid. The house is not in any way equipped to provide you with any comfort whatsoever, if it is hot and/or humid. The upstairs patio has ZERO shade. The upstairs bedroom fans barely turn, they provided zero relief from the heat. there are no fans upstairs in kitchen, dining and living area. Management directed us to the downstairs lanai for shade. We tried it. Not a breeze to be had. You just sit & sweat. You turn your thoughts to go inside for some heat relief. Downstairs has two ceiling fans, the one on the TV area does not work excrept for light. The one in the kitchen area works great. We laid beneath it for some relief from the heat. Working at full speed, the room was at a temp of 80 degrees??, that includes running the master bedrooms wall AC full time with the bedroom door open. I can't imagine how hot the upstairs area was. The master bedroom downstairs would be your only safe haven in this home all day. Once the evening comes, it was nice to sit down by the water. That was comfortpable and you could catch a breeze. Bedtime upstairs, plan on laying there and sweating until about 1:30 am, when the breeze finally comes through and you can sleep for a few hours comfortably. We asked that someone come look at and fix the gas BBQ, because the rear wheels weren't on it correctly, preventing it from rolling. No one came. I have rented beach houses for the past 28 years front and center, right on the sand and Pacific Ocean in So. Cal. I made a terrible decision for my family with this beach house. It can't comfort you from the heat.

  We had a magical stay at the Haleiwa Beach Bungalow. The house is exactly as it is represented in the pictures...clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were a family of 6, (3 adults and 3 teenagers) and the space was perfectly comfortable for us. The manager even added another bed in the house for us per our request. The beach directly in front of the house is beautiful..great snorkeling, great paddle boarding, great fishing. Haleiwa is great surf town...highly recommend visiting Opals Thai Restaurant (seriously one of the best dinners we've EVER had). Location of the house is perfect with the beautiful beach but also in close driving distance to everything you would want to visit in the North Shore including Waimea, the rock, Sunset beach, Sharks cove, PCC and the marina...(check out Ted's Bakery).

  We love this house so much we came back to rent it again. It is right on the beach. It has an amazing upper and lower lanai. We spent our mornings snorkeling to the right of the house. The snorkeling was better than any snorkeling excursion. We swam with five turtles at one time. In the afternoon the turtles come onto shore and sun until early evening. The house has everything you need, beach items like boogey boards, sand shoes and rafts, a washer and two dryers, two grills (one propane, one charcoal), coffee makers, etc. We have visited this island multiple times so we enjoy being away from Waikiki and the crowds. I love Malama market and Giovanni's Shrimp truck. It was pretty warm going in July as there is only an air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs rooms had fans but it was warm. Amanda, the property manager, was just a phone call away if I needed her. This is my favorite house we have rented on any island. Best beach, best little town. I am sure we will be back.

  Absolutely gorgeous home and great spacious floor plan. We had 5, 3 adults and two teenagers and never felt crowded. The beach is right in front of you and there is a huge area of coral reef right in front of the house. As first time snorklers, we were in awe of the huge sea turtles swimming right next to us and all of the colorful fish in the water. Locals were all very friendly. Home is fully equipped with everything you need. Great assortment of water equipment on the side of the house near the washer and 2 dryers. Great BBQ pit, there are actually 3 of them and 2 out door showers. Not near as buggy as I thought Hawaii would be, we saw a few geckos and the cockroaches came out at night but stayed outside. All around incredible views and you could hear the water from all of the bedrooms even though they were located in the back of the house. AC in the master saved us, as we were apparently there on the most humid days ever. Incredible vacation! Can't wait to go back. We've already given out the website for this house to a few friends! Oh - and we learned it's pronounced Holly-eva, Haleiwa.

  This is a lovely house close to town. It is large enough to comfortably hold 3 couples or a family. The views and beach access make this a fantastic find. The house itself was clean and orderly. There was a small ant issue but nothing that interfered with our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

  Great home!. Photos are accurate as to how beautiful the place is; kitchen was great for cooking. Great location since it's walking distance to the town of Haleiwa and Matsumotos shave ice!   We stayed for a week and loved it. The house is in a great location with incredible views. We spent a big chunk of our time there on the upper deck. The beach is everything you ask for and surprisingly not crowded. Each day I was amazed to see only a few others on this beautiful stretch of beach. You can surf, paddleboard, swim, fish, bodyboard. You name it, it's right outside your door at this house. The town of Haleiwa is very small but has essentially everything you might need. Grocery store, drug store, some nice shops and a few restaurants.
  The only thing I would recommend is upgrading the mattresses. They were all very uncomfortable and I had to sleep on the couch during my stay. A memory foam mattress topper on each would help a lot.

  Family vacation with 7 adults. Great location! Good beach and surfing spot. Quiet neighborhood. The house has been recently upgraded but some of the fixtures and blinds are a bit worn; just needs a little sprucing up but very minor detail for a great property. Highly recommend for families of all ages.

  Our family of 6 (4 boys 19,18,17 and 2) stayed at the Haleiwa Beach Bungalow in late March of 2015. Prior to booking, we researched every rental listing on the North Shore between $400-$800/ night and this one came out on top.This house was perfect for all our needs, for the following reasons:
  •Great location. Close to town, nice safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors, amazing beach front location, spectacular views.
  •Very nice home layout with a focus on the kitchen/dining/great room opening up to an expansive deck overlooking the beach.
  •Clean. Well maintained home with clean floors, beds, linens, furniture, etc.
  •Very service-minded management company that answered all my questions, made reservation easy, and promptly handled my only on-site need promptly (BBQ needed servicing).
