The three bedroom and two bathroom unit is located within a gated property. The unit is one of four that make up a multi-plex property. The condo is located just across the street from the well known Pokai Bay Beach.

This unit is on the Second Floor and is all one level. It is well equipped with full kitchen, flat screen smart TV, DVD player, CD player, WiFi, linens and cookware. It has a great lanai that looks out onto the Pokai Bay Beach cove.

Just across the street is Pokai Bay, a crescent cove shaped beach with a gently sloping coral reef making it great for swimming year round. There's a lifeguard on duty which makes it a safe place for your young ones to enjoy. The calm waters also make for great paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling or even just relaxing on a floatie while watching the fish and turtles swim by! Rentals of bikes and all types of boards are available nearby...as well as instructors right in the area for you to try out a new water sport!

Enjoy pristine teal waters with the backdrop of sky-scraping mountains. The large beach park itself has many amenities...bathrooms, showers, lifeguards, grassy areas, lots of trees and shade. On weekends the beach park can get fairly busy, however during the week you will have this treasure basically to yourselves. We have beach chairs, coolers and beach towels available for your outings.

The Pokai Bay unit is conveniently located just a short drive away from Ko' Olina Resort where you can enjoy a day out on their 18-hole championship golf course and finish up with a cocktail and a few pupu (Hawaiian word for appetizer) . After a long day exploring the rest of what Oahu has to offer, such as Waikiki, Pearl Harbor and the amazing North Shore, you can look forward to returning to a sunset at Pokai Bay.

  The condo was clean and well supplied. The proximity to the beautiful beach was awesome and we spent a lot of time there relaxing, swimming, surfing and paddle boarding. If you want to relax at the beach, this is the place. The beach is clean and there are a lot of families there during the day.
  There are quite a few homeless hanging out in the beach park but they never panhandled or bothered us. There are not a lot of tourists in this area of Oahu, so if you like fancy (expensive) restaurants then you will need to drive to Ko Olina (about 10 miles) or into Honolulu. There is good food nearby, Hawaiian bbq, burgers, We golfed twice at a nearby course. The locals were friendly and we enjoyed our visit.

  The home was great! Perfect size and layout for a large family, great dining table. Comfortable beds, ample supplies, towels, washer dryer, beach toys and snorkeling gear, lawn chairs, etc. The beach across the street was nice with soft sand on the ocean floor. The deck had a nice view of the beach. We enjoyed cooking and using the grill outside. I liked that the home had an entry gate that locked for better safety which is also where we parked our car. We drove about 1 hr each way to our activities which was fine. Overall a great space and experience!

  My family and I completely enjoyed staying at our rental. If you are facing the property we stayed at the top left unit. From the beginning, Sun was super welcoming and helpful. She even left us some delicious dragon fruit! The home was perfect! Extremely clean and organized and had everything you could possibly need, down to sugar packets. You have the beautiful pokai bay literally across the street and it’s perfect because it is not over crowded like the other beaches on the island. In addition, the breath taking mountains right in front of the property as well. You could enjoy any meal inside the cool AC or decide to sit out on the balcony. We will most certainly be staying at this place every time we decide to travel to Hawaii. In addition, I will be recommending this property to all my friends and family. It a perfect location not too far from Honolulu, Waikiki and a close drive to Makakilo where you can find Costco and other stores for your convence. The neighborhood was very calm and peaceful and safe.

  Connecting with property management staff was easy and Amanda was always helpful; the apartment was really clean and spacious which we enjoyed because we spent our evenings cooking and visiting with family; we appreciated having plenty of towels, the BBQ, kitchen equipment and we really enjoyed the beach toys and gear which we used every day. Pokai Bay beach is just across the road and it was safe swimming, there's a lifeguard present each day and we met local families who were warm and friendly; we even had a turtle visit us while we were swimming; great place to rent a paddle board from a nearby vendor. It's important to know that the venue of this comfortable, beautiful home is not in a tourist resort area. I completely recommend this lovely home. Grocery stores are nearby as well as inexpensive restaurants.

  A great place to have a relaxing holiday. Really nice, large rental with tons of room and everything you need. Great barbeque, lots of beach toys including life jackets and really good kitchen. Sun even brought us a blender when we inquired about one! Absolutely wonderful beach access to the best beach with no crowds. The neighborhood stores were very good with lots of fresh meat and produce and prices were very reasonable. Two grocery stores and Longs Drugs were well within walking distance .. you would not need a vehicle if you just wanted to stay here all the time. Also there is a SUP and Kayak rental place you can walk to.
  There are lots of homeless people around but we had absolutely no problems.
  Overall we were very happy with our stay, thanks for sharing your house Sun!

  That boat is a toxic hazard to the bay. Someone stand up and remove it from the bay. We so love Pokai Bay and the beauty of nature that lives there. That boat, we discovered is creating a problem. We loved the area so much, we barely got in our car. There is so much to enjoy right there. We loved supporting the local community. Everyone treated us with care and love. We learned to paddle board. We went out in the outrigger canoe several times with a lovely group there. The wild life is amazing. The waters gentle and soothing. Yet there are some great waves, just a short walk away. We experienced the homeless population, that is facing us all, every where. One of the gifts of that, there was a group of them that played beautiful Hawaiian music in the park. There are many farmers markets in the area. We enjoyed fresh food daily. Sun is a gracious and helpful steward. She provided some amazing fruit we had never had before. We honor and give thanks for what Sun has built there for all of us to enjoy, Pokai Bay of Dreams. The house is lovely, spacious, very clean,(thank you to Helen and her family who live on the property). We felt so at home. We enjoyed observing the people in the park. Many good stories. We watched a 7 year old boy learn to surf. Turtles came to visit us as we relaxed on the beach. Dolphins came to rest and play there. We experienced a rare and beautiful storm. The Heiau MALAEA is a precious, and powerful place to experience. The sunsets from there are life changing. Coquitos was our favorite restaurant, have deserts. Also the new Beach House restaurant on the water, magical water view, and food. The night sky is amazing. We slept like babies and woke early to enjoy each day. It's a busy corner, we acclimated to the activity. There are many talented artists in the area. Many are at the market on Sat. behind Starbucks. We intend to come back, and reconnect with some of the amazing people we met and shared time with. Deepest gratitude, Sun.

  We stayed here with 4 adults and four young kids. The condo is bright, spacious, excellently maintained and clean. The pictures don’t do it justice. The kitchen has everything you need. AC in the main areas and individual AC in each bedroom. we found we didn’t really need it as opening the window doors out to the lanai gave plenty of nice breeze. This condo is second floor, so stairs. Beach right across the street with washrooms. We did notice a couple homeless people frequented that part of the beach, but they were no bother at all. The beach is a good stretch long with nice family swimming right across and a bit more wave for boogie boarding or amateur surfers about 200-400m further down. Our youngest is 3 and the water was nice and calm for her. A bit further down the beach is also the military rec Center which has very clean washrooms and showers. Nice local places to eat within walking distance. Groceries within walking distance and bigger grocery stores within a 10 minute drive, but we only used the one within walking distance. We loved it and would definitely stay again. Owner and manager super nice and very responsive.

  The apartment is exactly as-presented in the photos. We didn't think that was even POSSIBLE! It's spacious and open, we loved all the doors and windows we could open to hear the waves crashing on the beach which really is right across the street! There is AC but we never used it, the ceiling fans were plenty.
  
  The owners are especially helpful and kind. We felt very welcome, would go there again, and would recommend the place to others.
  
  We enjoyed the beach across the street, the L&L Barbecue place just up the block, and Coquito's around the corner on Farrington was VERY good (but a little pricey so make sure to check out the menu before you go... it was so tasty though). There are markets very nearby for stocking-up, and a PO for mailing your picture postcards! :D
  
  If I had ANY complaints it would be about the roosters which never seem to quiet down, lol. But after a couple of nights I barely noticed them anymore!

  The rental provided so many amenities it was amazing. Boogie boards, beach chairs and mats, sooo many towels, extra blankets and linens, coffee, and some other food essentials. The rental was huge! Walk in closets in all the bedrooms and the rooms themselves were also very large. Super clean. Three air conditioniners throughout the unit which was plenty to keep it cool. Sun met us at the rental unit and brought with her fresh fruit one that was from her own tree at home. Awesome customer service. The area is a little sketchy at times but with the property being gated we felt safe. But just be aware this is off the beaten path which we loved but there is definitely more culture here then when I’m Wikiki so be prepared for that. Overall it was an AMAZING stay here and I would recommended it to anyone.

  Pokai Bay getaway is the absolute perfect location. Just steps away from a beautiful beach, the home is clean and completely stocked with all that you need to enjoy the beach and the home itself.   The condo layout was as expected and was very clean and all in working order. The condo has A/C but we only used it about half of the time because of the constant breezes. The beach park is right across the lightly traveled local road from the condo. You can do it all right in Pokai Bay, swim, snorkel, fish, SUP and surf as there is a break wall that keeps half of the bay calm. Two local grocery stores nearby which made things easy as we cooked most of our meals at the condo. Boyd's Fish Market is about 4 miles south and has locally caught fresh fish. Beautiful mountain views surround the area. We enjoyed the route and beaches north on Rte. 93 and even saw whales on two different days. No seaweed and no jellyfish. The condo sits in a residential area but we felt safe with the gated property. The locals we met were all friendly and we had no problems. The property managers were friendly, helpful and available.

  Wow! The rental unit was perfect. It is so spacious and extremely accommodating to be able to have our family stay above us.   What a wonderful location. This property is very near to the Pola'i Bay where the water is available to swim anytime. The beach was not very busy but had beautiful sand. We could sit on the lanai and watch the ocean and the park. We enjoyed every minute. If you want to relax and be away from the congestion of Honolulu, this is the place for you. The owners were great. We will stay here again if we are fortunate enough to come to Hawaii. Mahalo.
