Private cottage perfect for a quite getaway for two but spacious enough for a family up to five. This brand new two story cottage is located steps from a secluded beach with a private access down to the water. This custom built cottage has one bedroom, one bathroom, full kitchen and private lanai with BBQ. Just a few miles from Oahu’s Famous North Shore where you will find shopping, restaurants and every water activity you can basically imagine. Haleiwa town provides a handful of options for surf lessons, Kayak and paddle board rentals along with the Haleiwa Harbor that is home to many ocean excursions and charter boats! As you enter into the cottage you are greeted with a space that was designed with the upmost care and attention. The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you enjoy a home cooked meal while on vacation! There are bar stools for four to comfortably eat together along with a small children’s table for two that the little ones can enjoy eating at as well. The ground floor also includes the living room with queen sized memory foam pull out couch and a twin size customer murphy bed. There is a 55 inch cable TV with blueray to enjoy after a long day of exploring. The full bathroom is also located on the ground floor and includes a shower and tub combo. Access the upstairs by a custom spiral staircase where you will find the bedroom with a California king bed, built in desk, window seat with storage along with both Ocean and Mountain views! The cottage is completely private with gated driveway and private beach access down to a beach side cabana. You private yard includes a laundry room, BBQ, outdoor shower and outdoor seating for six with an umbrella if you prefer your meals out in the fresh Hawaiian air.

This was the perfect spot for us to catch up with our family in the area. The access to the beach was great. Great design very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Would surely stay here again.

Great little area and not to far from North Shore. A small issue with the walk way to the beach but it was fixed immediately. We enjoyed coffee on the beach and watched the local neighbors fish. Not swimming friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

We're soooooo glad we didn't go to a hotel. Our family was transitioning to the island and this temporary home had everything we needed (and even more)! The kitchen was stocked with more utensils and cookware than we have at home. The neighborhood was very quiet and the people were so friendly. Whenever we had any issues, they were fixed right away. Being steps from the beach was a luxury we will miss; our family spent many lazy afternoons watching the sunset over the water. We think our neighbors were in a bluegrass band and played music on the weekend once or twice, which our toddler loved to dance to. Doordash (aka quick cuisine) options in the area are limited, but excellent shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. We highly recommend this place if you're coming to the island and are looking for a quiet getaway.

we had a lovely stay... we call it the treehouse. it was fun to look at the pairs of birds in the mimosa tree from the upstairs balcony. modern, airy, well-stocked with kitchen utensils. locals all around, we wanted to be respectful.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Surrounded by a quiet friendly neighborhood. Beach front was gorgeous and without crashing waves or jagged reef which made it great for swimming and snorkeling. Sandy bottom extends far out from shoreline as well. Sunsets were priceless and offered an end to each day which could only be found on a postcard if you weren’t there to see it for yourself. Property is also extremely safe and secure from public .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Clean and a kitchen with everything you need. Close to Haleiwa for shopping for food or dining out. we really liked Breakers Restaurant and Bar. We also used the Foodland Pupukea. Nearby hiking trails, Kealia Trail and the Coastal Hiking Trail and snorkeling at Shark's Cove. We enjoyed the private beach. Lots of drift wood but that's part of its beauty and plenty of nearby sandy beaches. We'd stay here again. Tim, owner, was available and nice.

The waialua retreat was a small place but worked for me, I was traveling alone. I think if there were more than 2 guests it would be quite crowded. The provided instructions for accessing the property were perfect. The only negatives for me were 1) I am quite particular about cleanliness of where I stay and while the home was in good condition, the cleaning could have been improved. The floors definitely had not been cleaned properly, especially under the bed. 2) I wish there were more amenities at the property. While the kitchen was fully stocked, and I realize space was a premium, it would have been nice to have a beach chair in the storage closet and other minimal things like sugar and coffee. 3) The beach at this property is in poor condition, it is covered with driftwood and I never saw a single other person on this area of beach.
