Our newly built Ali’i Studio Cottage is a gem tucked away behind the main house…a free-standing separate unit with its own private patio for BBQ-ing and dining “al fresco”!

Guests have called it a “sweet little spot” … an “efficient space” …”perfectly outfitted”…ideal “for solo travelers”…”for a romantic getaway”.

Visit quaint Haleiwa, known for its country charm and laid-back surfer vibe. Surf shops, local galleries, great restaurants, shopping and shave ice…the quintessential beach town!

Ali'i Beach Park is a destination all its own! Located just across the country road, there’s a large grassy area, ideal for picnicking and tossing the frisbee. A small protected bay on the south side of the beach is the best for swimming! And although there is a shallow reef, it makes for great snorkeling. It is also home to some of the best waves, making it a popular spot for local surfers. You might catch a few surfing contests here in the winter months, when the surf is up on the North Shore!

This cottage has everything you need to enjoy an affordable relaxing vacation…a full kitchen, flat screen TV and a comfy new bed! (The pullout couch has been replaced with a real queen bed). It’s just the place for you!

  This was exactly what we needed. Close to town. Close to the beach. Private, comfortable, and clean. We love Haleiwa, great food, great beaches.
  If there was a negative, no washer and dryer on site. We found a laundromat 10 minutes away in Waialua.

  This studio is perfect for 1 or 2 people in Haleiwa. We had a car but it barely moved during our stay and then only to visit grandkids across the island. (First-time visitors will want a car for touring and sightseeing.) Downtown Haleiwa, restaurants, retail and necessities, is an easy 10-minute walk. Directly across the street is a large beach park and a very nice 300 yard long beach that, during our stay at least (mid-October) was lightly used.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Alii cottage. It was clean, quiet and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The location is great with the park and ocean across the street. All the old town activity is a short walk away.

  Exactly as pictured and a perfect slice of Hawaiian life, despite the bustle of the outside modern world. Amanda was swift in her responses to any questions I had. Coming home after 7-years away and 14 since I moved to the mainland, I wanted to avoid hotels or expensive 30-day rentals, this place fit the bill perfectly! I’m guessing they could by-pass the 30-day short-term lease laws because the house fronting the property had the owners home for the first few days of my stay. Brilliant!!! Although I was saddened to see what has become of the island, it was nice that on the N Shore change has happened at island pace. Although to get around on the N Shore, you need to do so before 10a because Kamehameha Hwy wasn’t built to withstand that much traffic. Hawai’i had nearly 800k visitors in June 2021, just to help give you some perspective. Be prepared for an onslaught. It took me over an hour to go visit my Uncle and cousin at Sunset Beach... from Hale’iwa... yikes!

  This was a sweet little studio. Very simple and clean. The location is perfect for accessing the beach across the street or heading into town. The air conditioning provides a lovely escape from the heat and the patio area is a nice little area for an evening unwind. My only complaint was that door has a gap from the door frame which makes keeping mosquitos and flies out tricky. I would definitely recommend and stay again. BYO beach towels. :)

  I loved this quaint little property right across the street from Ali'i beach park... perfectly located near the beach and the Marina at Hale'iwa, the town itself is just a short walk from this location as well...this brand new property is fully equipped with new appliances and many amenities all packed into an efficient space... wonderful space for those looking to be close to the charm of historic Hale'iwa town, perfect for solo travelers or a romantic getaway...loved my stay here! here!

  I really can’t say enough good things about this property or the management company that offers it! The location is incredible: 1min wall from the beach across a gorgeous Ali’i Beach Park or a 10min walk to the heart of old Hale’iwa Town or a 15min drive from some of most gorgeous mountain hikes I’ve ever done. There are no hotels in this side of the island, but this little place is decorated, outfitted, and maintained as well or better than any 4 star hotel where I’ve stayed. It is a great great jumping-off point for all the outdoor things you could want to do on O’ahu. It also feels like a safe, private, and comfortable retreat to return at the end of the day. On customer service, Amanda bent over backwards to support us when my wife had some unexpected medical issues and we had to cut our visit short. Dollar for dollar, I’d stay here over anywhere else on the North Shore.
